JOHNNY B SAYS

We've made some changes to our Hardcore leagues. The Psychotic Killer League (in the Jade Federation) and Xtreme Wrestling League (in the Diamond) are two of our three Hardcore leagues, and they DO allow transfers. The Hardcore Wrestling League is the third, but this new Iron Federation league does NOT allow transfers; you must create a brand new wrestler if you want to join the HWL. This change should allow managers who want to keep their current characters to be able to compete for the $25,000 title, while providing a fresh playground for anyone who would prefer a totally even playing field (at least as far as records are concerned).

On a related note, we have decided to convert the Grim Reaper League in the Bronze Federation from a normal league to an Asiatic league. Transfer your toughest grappler there if you want a shot at the title!

HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES

WWW, in association with managers Austin and Nate Pierce of Wisconsin, proudly announce the retirement of Jonathan Jankowski. Jonathan's record at the time of his retirement was 1,071-374-67, with $2,400,000 in earnings and 9 stars.

Jonathan's 11+ year IWA journey began in the old AAL in May of 1992, where he worked his way up from being a prelim to becoming TV Champion. When the AAL closed, Jonathan -- along with his partners Duke Dangerous and Lethal Luke Laser -- moved on to the ICL, where Jonathan worked his way up from the bottom of the card to becoming a top star. In his 7 years in the ICL, Jonathan accumulated numerous titles, including holding the IWA World Tag titles with Duke Dangerous in August of 1998.

Jonathan's proudest career accomplishment also came during his days in the ICL when he won the IWA's National title in August of 1996, bringing prestige to his original stable, the DWA. During this time, Jonathan worked two different leagues at the same time, working in the ICL along with the SDL, QPL, BRL, and the Danger Ahead League. It was in the DAL (the league Jonathan considered his favorite and his home for many years) that he teamed with Lt. Bobby Jacobs and Sgt. Stan Carlson as The Army. The Army's highest achievement was winning the IWA World Six-man titles in January of 1999. The Army engaged in many brutal wars with many great opponents. Jonathan's most memorable feud in the DAL was with Joe E. Legend, following Jonathan's winning of the 1998 Mr. DAL 64-Man Tournament.

In addition to those mentioned above, Jonathan is also grateful for the support of his other partners, including Brian Bulldozer and Bobby Brainbuster, as well as his brothers Jimmy and Joey Jankowski -- who, despite claiming a "family curse," are still close to him.

Jonathan was most recently edged out for the IWA World title a mere few months after returning to the game this year following a nearly 4-year absence. Jonathan would like to thank all his fans, friends, and opponents alike for all the great memories along the way.
