JOHNNY B SAYS
We've done it! We've hit the big four-oh! Happy 40th birthday, IWA!!! My father, the original Johnny B, passed away less than 18 months before his ruby wedding anniversary, but the most successful game he ever created has finally reached a milestone that he could not.
This historic event would never have occurred without the tireless efforts of pro wrestling fans from across the globe who helped his creation realize its full potential -- and yes, I'm talking about all of you. Your unwavering support and numerous contributions took this game from its very humble beginnings and turned it into something truly special, something your fellow wrestling fans could feel passionate enough about that they would even invite family and friends to share in the fun. Your excellent ideas and input routinely kept the experience from growing stale without ever losing its original essence, while your engaging characters and unpredictable storylines always kept your fellow managers coming back for more. You transformed the IWA from being just my father's game into one that belongs to all of us.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for making this moment possible. Thank you for four incredible decades of pro wrestling entertainment.
You made it to 40, Dad!
HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES -- engraved plaque
Michael Drake of New Jersey
CURE: Smokin' MD (VUL) 387-350-61, *52, $1,572,300
Smokin' MD... #5 of the summer of 2025. As I said: a crossroads, a new beginning. I think a fresh start is what we all need to recharge those imaginary batteries -- get rid of 15-20, 36 or 62 of the old ones and give the new class a go. We still need to ask the Captain Sir Mike Cook for the numbers; one of these days, we'll hop onto the Facebook and shoot him a little chat. Until then, Smokin' MD thanks you for your time. You know the drill: take a puff and pass it along. #BrotherHH

~TZ~ of Virginia
EDGE: Ton Pere Romeo DaVinci (WEW) 1,045-161-49, *59, $1,329,200
Hanging up the imaginary boots this cycle is a longtime protege of manager ~TZ~: none other than the loveable Frenchman, Ton Pere Romeo DaVinci. During his career, RDV won an IWA-wide regional, as well as three IWA World Six-man titles alongside his former partner and fellow Hall-of-Famer Wildcard Ace Gamble, who is now the current Commissioner of the High Rollers League.
EDGE: Sly Guy Scott Warner (RDL) 1,079-179-45, *33, $1,285,000
Also calling it quits is Sly Guy Scott Warner from the RDL. Scott has the distinction of being the very first wrestler managed by ~TZ~, making his initial debut all the way back in the Summer cycle of 1994 in the original Razzle Dazzle League. Scott won the RDL Royal Rumble in 1995, and soon after captured the prestigious Mr. RDL title. He remained in the RDL until the league closed and then competed in the Cable Vision League, where he resumed his long-standing feud with the Dream Warriors. Following his stint in the CVL, Scott bounced around a bit before taking a 12-year hiatus from competition. He returned in 2009 as a journeyman, but that stint lasted only two years. The wrestling world thought it had seen the last of the Sly Guy, but he made one final triumphant return when the RDL came back online at the end of 2023. Scott won a tournament to become the first RDL World Champion in the new version of the RDL, and he wore that title proudly before eventually dropping it to Union Jack Puddings. After a lengthy feud with Father Nurgle's Legends of Wrestling -- in which he came out on top -- he called for his final match to come against his good friend Cardiac Arrest, in a 60-minute Iron Man match at Raz-Slam '25, which became an instant classic. Fittingly, Warner represents a milestone in the career of his manager as he becomes the 25th Hall of Fame inductee for ~TZ~.
