This cycle, your big white envelope contains a sign-up form for the Unknown Wrestler League. It's also available on the Results page of our website. All UWL wrestlers wear masks (yes, even the jobbers!), so no one has any idea who they're competing against. Adding to the fun -- and anxiety -- is that every cycle, a few grapplers get unmasked and booted from the league! You won't have to leave your current league to participate, because the UWL is more like a 25-cycle contest than a typical IWA league. This is the only "league" in the game where wrestlers fight in two leagues at once, and when it's time for your ring warrior to show their face, they get to keep all the wins, stars, and imaginary money they've collected in the UWL but throw away the draws and losses!
It's especially important that you consider joining this time because manager Donald Henry has claimed the big prize the last two consecutive runs, and his reign of terror must be stopped. What is that prize he's been hogging? Why, it's 25 free matches and an engraved championship belt!
Once the bell rings to signal the start of the first match, the sign-up period is over, and so is your chance to experience this unique event for at least another year and a half. We don't like giving anyone bad news, so enter your wrestler today!
Manager Solomon Shaw retained both the World and National titles! The last time a manager won back-to-back World belts was the February cycle of this year; Brad Norman was enjoying his time in the driver's seat too much to let anyone else take a turn. "The Game" was the last manager to keep his hands on the National Championship, and that was back in the December 2022 cycle. The most recent occurrence of a player retaining both the World and National honors was the March 2020 cycle, when Gerald Robinson accomplished the feat.
