Each of the 13 champions in this event was supposed to receive $250,000 in imaginary Canadian dollars, but since our accountant doesn't understand exchange rates, the first-place prize amount will instead be $309,700 ($250K USD) plus 10 free matches. The winner with the best strategy out of all 10 provinces will face the top performer from the three territories to become the IWA Maple Leaf Champion. The runner-up will be awarded the choice of a large, engraved plaque or 25 free matches, and the winner will take home a real-life belt or 50 free matches! Since Canada is known for providing the world with far more than its fair share of entertainers, the prizes will be presented by the highest-profile Canadian celebrity our limited budget will allow.
