After showing that there is absolutely no quit in him, "Doctor" Donny Royale is... quitting. Royale revealed at an emotional press conference that injuries he suffered while winning the recent IWA "I Quit" Specialty title will make it impossible for him to continue his wrestling career.
Also retiring is Superstar Sean Savant. After losing several major IWA singles and team titles by point flow, Savant was ecstatic to learn he was going into the Hall. "I'll finally have my moment in the spotlight!" he enthused. Unfortunately, Savant was in a major automobile accident while on his way to the ceremony, and could not attend. He received his award at a private ceremony in the hospital.

"Elevator" by Eminem explodes over the P.A. system as Hardcore Tommy Valentine and "Dr. Pain" Mark Duchaine walk down the entry ramp to the ring. Tommy has a blue IWA World title belt around his waist, and Doctor Pain has the Diamond Federation, Metropolitan, and Asiatic titles in tow. A few EDGE and "Game" fans at ringside jeer Doc Pain as he walks down the ramp, and he stops and screams, "WORLD CHAMPION!" in their faces before proceeding to yell, "Yes! Yes!! Yes!!!" and flash the gold to ringside fans. Tommy enters the ring first, and holds the ropes open for Doctor Pain.
Doctor Pain: "You know, IWA Universe, I have waited several years to climb back up to the top of the IWA mountain. It's exciting! And I can feel the electricity in the air whether you love me or hate me. Yo, Adrian! I did it!!! (Tommy holds up the World title to a mix of boos and cheers.) But I accept this World title today with a heavy heart. My best friend isn't here to celebrate this title with me -- a man that I think of more as a brother than a friend. The last I heard from my best friend, he was being flooded and hammered by Hurricane Sandy at home. I'm supposed to be a bad guy, but I just can't bring myself to rub this World title in your faces right now. Instead, I just hope my buddy 'The Big MoFo' is alright. My thoughts and prayers are with you, big guy! So, tonight I want to dedicate this IWA World title to both my best friend and all the IWA players who were affected by Hurricane Sandy. I hope first and foremost that you, your family, and your friends are okay, and also that you saved your best stuff -- of course including those IWA bulletins. Seriously, though, it's heartbreaking to lose the things you value the most. So, brother... Big Guy... Anthony... please be okay, buddy. We've waited so many years for me to get another one of these, and it just won't be complete 'til you're right back here with me."
With that, Mark Duchaine takes out his lighter, lights it, and holds it up in the air. Several fans follow suit as the IWA dims the lights and pays tribute to those affected by the disaster.
