JOHNNY B SAYS

Next cycle will mark the Imaginary Wrestling Association's 25th year in existence. We have lots of surprises in store for everyone, and here's a small taste to whet your appetites: you can use lowercase letters in your stable initials beginning next cycle! Managers have been requesting this, and we're happy to deliver. This should allow for even more creativity in our game. And, of course, changing your stable initials is still free!

Also scheduled for next cycle is Imagimania XXV, a gigantic contest featuring prizes worthy of our silver anniversary. This will be something we've never done before, and will never do again, so you don't want to miss it!

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION

PSY: R.B. Manny Fernandez (RBL) added $300,000 to his imaginary bank account with the aid of his 500-point strategy. His manager, Jim "Hellwig" Gabbard from Parts Unknown, will receive his choice of 100 free matches or a real wrestling belt and 50 free matches!

U.S. CHAMPION

Gaining this engraved plaque (or 25 free matches) for "Dr. Pain" Mark Duchaine of Vermont was CAST: Wonderful Wally Brown (GRL), who successfully used point flow against fellow TV champions JL6: Don "Godfather" SCOE-B#6 (RBL), CTI/NVME: Magnificent Marvin Masters (TCL), UL: Wrestling God Hector Dodd (CFL), and AM: Eye Candy Joey Wilds (BHL)! Each wrestler had 500 points.

KING OF THE RING

Joey Webb of Kentucky armed SSA: Flex Ruger (CFL) with a 500-pointer, and Flex ended up with the highest total when we added the values of the holds at positions 2, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 in each battle royal winner's strategy. That means Joey gets to choose between an engraved plaque and 25 free matches! wWw: "Pure Evil" Craig Peton (CSL) and White Diamond (EHL) also had a 272-point KOTR total, but lesser overall strategies. Hold positions 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 14, and 15 were used for the league battle royals.

AMERICAN CHAMPION

This $25,000 title was awarded to CAST: Celtic Tiger (AAL) after he edged out CTI/NVME: Morgan Sloat (TCL). Both had 500 points. Tiger's manager, Michael Eaves of Mississippi, won 10 free matches!

ASIATIC CHAMPION

Although fellow Asiatic league champion PSY: The Grappler Greg Domino (MEL) also had a 499 total, CAST: Awesome Adam Stryker (CSL) didn't let that stand in his way. He used point flow in a very awesome manner, and won 10 free matches for "Dr. Pain" Mark Duchaine of Vermont!

HARDCORE CHAMPION

PSY: The Murderer Marcus Disaster (RYL) had to defeat wWw: Simply Sexy Sammy (GRL) by point flow for this title, since each had a 500-point strategy. Marcus is managed by Mike Dorsett of New York, who will receive 10 free matches as a reward!

METROPOLITAN CHAMPION

Mike Moore of North Carolina led wWw: Simply Sexy Sammy to victory over the other champions of our six most active leagues. That makes it the seventh time this year that our Metro champ has hailed from the GRL, so Mike will receive forty free matches! Sammy's strategy was worth 500 points.

CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION

After seeing Chris's 499-pointer edged for this title last time, manager Aaron Bailey of Illinois went to work devising an even stronger strategy. His new, improved 499-pointer got the job done, and "The Flash" Chris Kennedy (JCL) finally got to enjoy a $25,000 payday. Aaron won 10 free matches for increasing the power of his wrestler's "Cyclone Piledriver Drop"!

FEDERATION PLAY-OFFS

The Iron Federation title remained in the possession of Sly Smith from West Virginia! This time around he used Æ: Viking Underdog (NGL) to gain the prize. Also with a 499 total but losing by point flow were Asiatic Champion CAST: Awesome Adam Stryker (CSL) and Cruiserweight Champion "The Flash" Chris Kennedy (JCL). Hardcore Champion PSY: The Murderer Marcus Disaster (RYL) picked up the Steel Federation honors with his 500-pointer. His manager is Mike Dorsett of New York. In the Gold Federation, ~TZ~ of Virginia coached ZOMBI: Lex Stevenson (BBL) to a 499 total, which gained him the belt. The $40,000 Diamond Federation championship went to ZOMBI: Uncensored (NFL), who missed it by point flow last cycle! His manager, Chad LaBombard of Michigan, earned 25 free matches for turning point flow around to his advantage -- X-RAIDED: Mystic Knight (ABL), Agent of Freedom (NSL), CAST: Atreyu (AFL), and PSY: Defender of the Crown (NAL) had the same 499-point total as Uncensored, but were edged out! Eventual World Heavyweight Champion R.B. Manny Fernandez began his journey to the top by taking the Bronze Federation strap over Metropolitan Champion wWw: Simply Sexy Sammy (GRL), CTI: Million Dollar Man Mike Hliwski (MSL), Æ: Awesome Sean MCA (OTL), and CTI/NVME: Morgan Sloat (TCL). Each wrestler had 500 points, as did American Champion CAST: Celtic Tiger (AAL), who claimed the Jade Federation title for Michael Eaves of Mississippi!

NATIONAL CHAMPION, IWA-WIDE REGIONALS

After conquering the Pacific region with his 500-point strategy, MVD: Alien Incognito (RBL) used his secretly superior abilities to secure the National title's prize of an engraved plaque or 25 free matches for Michael DeCost of Ohio! Winning the other regional championships were...

coached to a 500 by Jason Clark of Minnesota

Southern: SSA: Flex Ruger (CFL)
received a kingly 500 total from Joey Webb of Kentucky
Western: ILL: Hotshot R. L. Bream (GRL)
managed by Rob Bream of Pennsylvania; used point flow against CTI: Deathsayer Demon (RBL) and ZOMBI: Dominant Factor War (CFL), all with 499

LADIES' TITLES

Refusing to let a little thing like being edged out for the Ladies' World Championship last cycle get her down, ZOMBI: Dominant Factor Alimony (MDL) redoubled her efforts and claimed the $40,000 prize with a 500-pointer! Her manager, ~TZ~ of Virginia, gets to choose either an engraved plaque or 15 free matches as his prize. He also went home with the Ladies' National belt by supplying ZOMBI: Dominant Factor Vanity (MDL) with a 499-point strategy! Anthony Dudick of New York helped his wrestler, CAST: "The Black Widow" Brianna Trueblood (VVL), defeat Mary Miles Minter (FFL) in the battle for the Queen of the Ring crown. ILL: Nikki Blair (LLL) won the $20,000 Ladies' U.S. championship under the watchful eye of Rob Bream from Pennsylvania. ZOMBI: Jenny and Kelly Striker (FFL) picked up the Ladies' tag straps, then manager Chad LaBombard of Michigan had Shelly Striker join them, and the trio won the U.S. Six-woman titles! VU: Paige and Pisces Leigh (LLL) brought the Ladies' U.S. Tag-team belts home to Jonathan Riehle of Washington. The World Six-woman champions were CTI: Dawn Marie Sexy D, Star Laur, and "Double D's" Debbie Dollars (FFL). They are managed by Mike Carver of Pennsylvania.

They had to share the prize money with Æ: Masked Donald Trump and Masked Legend (MEL), who kept Sly Smith of West Virginia's name in this section.
