STABLECADE 2007 Out of all 626 wrestlers who entered this year's contest, the winners turned out to be Terminal Velocity! TV had the best average once we determined the top five strategy totals in each group that signed up. Listed below are those who brought fame to the stable. Each wrestler was awarded $100,000 in imaginary money, and all TV members have bragging rights for one year!
Here's how each stable fared. Groups are ranked by the average strategy total from their 5 best members:
Spots 21 through 27 went to HUNS, PAIN, DX and SDI, WA, KKE, and TOMB. A big "Thank you" goes out to everyone who participated! We hope you enjoyed competing this year.
HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES Our first retiree this cycle is LAW: Jaxx from the ABL. With a record of 1,481-262-57, $2,336,300 in earnings, and 7 stars, he wins an engraved plaque for manager Cody Behrend of Texas. RENEGADE: "Mr. Mean" Wayne "Buzzsaw" Morgan is being inducted into our Hall posthumously. This BBL superstar is no longer tearing up the title page due to his untimely demise, but leaves behind impressive stats of 2,162-1,258-160 *17, and $5,147,100 worth of assets in his will. His manager, Edward Ledeger, Jr. of California, will receive a plaque along with a tasteful flower arrangement.
WORLD CHAMPION After edging out ACE: Tony Ceno (JIL) for the Jade Federation title, Black Falcon (SHL) picked up this prize of 100 free matches or a real wrestling belt and 50 free matches for his manager, Eric Jones of Maryland! His strategy was worth 500 points.
U.S. CHAMPION Despite being Canadian, manager Wade Thorpe was allowed to compete for this belt, and won it with EDGE/666: Red Eclipse (CFL)! Wade will receive his choice of an engraved plaque or 25 free matches, since he devised the 500-pointer.
KING OF THE RING CTI: Ruthless (WAL) won this engraved plaque or 25 free matches for Joshua Haight of Wisconsin! He had a 500-point strategy, and the top total (273) after we added the values of hold positions 1, 3, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 15 in the strategy of each league battle royal winner. Those winners were determined using hold positions 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, and 14.
ASIATIC CHAMPION Despite the fact that he's Canadian, we allowed manager Wade Thorpe to compete for this title, as well. His wrestler, EDGE/666: "Devilraiser" Karne (CFL), won him an additional 10 free matches with his 500-point strategy!
HARDCORE CHAMPION These 10 free matches went home with Jason Sandberg of New York, who managed ACE: J. Cheever Loophole (GRL) to a 500-point total! Things are sure to heat up even more very soon. That's because the Arm Lock League has just been converted to our newest Hardcore league!
FEDERATION PLAY-OFFS Ric "The Crippler" Jackson (XPL) decimated the competition in the Iron Federation with his 500-pointer, so he wins $40,000 in imaginary money. His manager, Erik Davis of Washington, earns 25 free matches! The Steel Federation went to EDGE: Delirious Dank Greene (OSL), managed by Neel LaBar of Virginia, who was entered in the running due to an in-league error.
