HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES Balian (KSL) has decided to end his time in the imaginary ring. He finishes with 1,009 victories, $5,379,900 in earnings, and 23 stars. Two engraved plaques will be sent to his manager, Dalton Russell (XWL) of Nevada, since he is also retiring!
WORLD CHAMPION Jason Sandberg of New York reclaimed the World title and its $300,000 prize with ACE: "Stand Up Comedian" Alvie Singer (JEL), who had 500 points! Jason wins another 100 free matches or a real wrestling belt and 50 free matches.
U.S. CHAMPION This belt refused to leave New York! This time it ended up around the waist of ACE: "The Bad Guy" Brian Agony (WAL). His manager, Howie Sandberg, can choose either an engraved plaque or 25 free matches. Also with a 499 but losing by point flow were UZI: Spark Plug (KKL), ONE: The Feared One (MEL), and UZI: Mr. Best Jr. (BWL).
KING OF THE RING When we added up the values of hold positions 2, 3, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, and 14 in every battle royal winner's strategy, we found that COT: King Krusher (THL) had the best total! His manager, Michael Eaves of Mississippi, wins an engraved plaque or 25 free matches. TV: Maniacal Mike Mayhem (IGL) and NS: "The Natural" Danny Kumora (FBL) also had 270 points using the 8 holds, but King Krusher's total strategy was worth a superior 499 points. The league battle royals used hold positions 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 12, and 15.
ASIATIC CHAMPION FOE: Bad Boy Tony (PML), managed by Tony Robinson of Florida, took this belt by edging out ACE: "Mr. Clutch" Chris Drury (JDL) and THE CLICK: "The Franchise" Triple B (NDL). The imaginary Tony wins $25,000, and the real Tony wins 10 free matches!
HARDCORE CHAMPION Gregg Boyle of Maryland won 10 free matches when UZI: True Playa Killa (GRL) won this $25,000 title! He had a 499-point strategy.
FEDERATION PLAY-OFFS Howie Sandberg of New York took the Iron Federation title by leading ACE: "Rugged" Randy Sanders (BTL) to point flow victory over ACE: Larry Tucker (UFL), WWW: Flawless (IDL), and EDGE: Black Knight (DZL). He also took the Steel prize, using ACE: Tortured Soul (DIL)! Will Booker of Florida picked up 25 free matches when his wrestler, THE CLICK: "The Franchise" Triple B (NDL), conquered the Gold Federation. He had to edge out TNT: Death Warrant (MWL), ACE: Kill Caustic (CWL), ACE: Hardcore Dawkins (NML), SERPENT: Cardinal Synn (BBL), and TV: Albion "Beyond Compare" O'Maire (ASL). COT: Leprechaun (ALL) retained his title, marking Michael Eaves of Mississippi's eleventh Diamond Federation win! He also grabbed the Jade strap, using King of the Ring COT: King Krusher (THL), who had a 499. The Bronze title went to Alvie Singer, who gladly traded it in for the World honors.
NATIONAL CHAMPION, IWA-WIDE REGIONALS Mike Moore of North Carolina earned an engraved plaque or 25 free matches by coaching LIGHTNING XPRESS: White Lightning Tim Armstrong (MRL) to the National title by way of the Atlantic region! Tim's strategy was worth 500 points. The rest of the regions went to...
LADIES' TITLES The Ladies' World Championship was won by OTR: Cee Cee (The Persian Wall) of the VVL! She is managed by Mark Manning of Florida, who gets to choose between an engraved plaque and 15 free matches for leading his female grappler to victory over WWW: Hurricane Amber (FFL). ACE: "Beautiful" Becky Hall (VVL) claimed the Queen of the Ring honors for manager Tim Zaegel of Missouri. The Ladies' U.S. champion was TV/FDC: Sunny Blaze (GDL), managed by Luke Fletcher of Georgia. She teamed with sisters Sable and Missy and they won the World Six-woman titles for the family! COT: Vicious Lorena Bobbit (LLL) gained the Ladies' National belt for Steven J. Deane of Nebraska, who helped her edge out COT: Ice Queen Tonya Harding (LLL), UZI: Brenda "Bring Da" Payne (VVL), and UZI: Anita "Lotta" Payne (VVL). W.P. Mills of Wisconsin managed CB: "Perfect Ten" Jen Carfagno and Rudi "Baby Got" Bakhtiar (FFL) to the Ladies' Tag-team titles. They had to wrestle them away from the defending champions, LPPF/BOD: Gothic Angel #1 and Bloody Assault Jessica Lee Richards (LLL). Jen and Rudi then teamed with stablemate Christi "Got It All" Paul and they took home the U.S. Six-woman championships! WWW: Minnie and Lizzy Tidy (VVL) went after the Ladies' U.S. tag straps. Thanks to guidance from manager Michael Tisdale of New Jersey, they were successful!
WORLD TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONS UZI: Forrest Gumbo and Rain Mayonnaise (NDL) added $50,000 to their bank accounts since they had the only 516 total out of all our league tag-team champions last cycle. Their manager, Jack the Ripper, wins his choice of an engraved plaque or 15 free matches!
TOP 10 TAG-TEAMS
U.S. TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONS ACE: "Wild Thing" Wendell Tvedt and Larry Tucker (UFL) helped Howie Sandberg of New York take these $20,000 titles away from his brother, who had them last time. Losing by point flow were DOA: Universal and Polish Power (NML), plus CTI: Intolerant and Vehement Heathens (CSL).
WORLD SIX-MAN CHAMPIONS Four teams had to share these titles last cycle. Jason P. Miller of Kansas manages both UZI teams, making it 5 cycles in a row that he's held these belts! The Sanders belong to Howie Sandberg of New York, and James Steen of Florida made sure the Wild West Warriors weren't left out. The top nine teams listed had 521 points.
