HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES Last cycle he retired Sunny Beach, and now Tony Robinson of Florida is entering CM Punk in our Hall of Fame! This superstar ends his career in the WWL. His three most recent accomplishments are taking the King of the Ring crown in the February cycle, picking up the Jade Federation belt in the December cycle, and winning the IWA World Championship in the October cycle! Tony will receive an engraved plaque for leading his wrestler to such heights. Also retiring this cycle is EDGE: Shang Tsung (OGL)! He finishes with an even 1,000 wins, $1,731,000 in imaginary earnings, and 12 stars. This former Gold Federation champion has earned a well-deserved plaque for Oliver Storz of Germany! Our final retiree is NVUS: Macho Man Daniel Savage (3,158-753-139, $7,886,700 *28) from the CFL. In addition to leading tag and six-man teams to the top 10 on numerous occasions, Daniel has also held the U.S. Tag-team title, plus both the Gold and Bronze Federation straps. That isn't too surprising when you realize that his manager, Dan Delaney of Ohio, is a 12-year veteran of the game!
WORLD CHAMPION Steve Bradshaw of Florida coached "Hacksaw" Bane Bradshaw (MRL) first to the top of the Steel Federation, and then to the top prize in the IWA, earning himself 100 free matches or a real wrestling belt and 50 free matches! Bane's strategy was worth a perfect 501 points.
U.S. CHAMPION The engraved plaque or 25 free matches that go with this title ended up in the hands of Howie Sandberg of New York, whose ACE: Awesome Force (NAL) edged out FOE: Icky the Psycho Donkey (LOL), TSD/TBOD: Ice (ECL), LOC: Mr. Man (GTL), UZI: Twisted Evil (CWL), UZI: Delirium (CLL), ONE LIFE CREW: Dead and Buried (NDL), ACE: Homicidal Hal Aurum (NSL), TV: Blaze (ABL), WWW: Francois Leroux (ALL), and DHM: Simon Savage (DDL)! Each of these wrestlers had a 500 total.
KING OF THE RING Totaling the values of hold positions 1, 2, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, and 14 in the strategy of every battle royal winner showed us that LPPF: Paluu (CWL) was the rightful wearer of this crown! His manager, Austin Hauger of Indiana, wins an engraved plaque or 25 free matches. Y2K Kriss Kaos (AEL) also had a 273-point KOTR total, but Paluu's 499-point overall strategy total was a little higher. (The eight hold positions that determined the battle royal outcomes were 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 13, and 15.)
ASIATIC CHAMPION UZI: Polish Power Jakub Pavlik (JDL) used his 500 total to gain $25,000 for himself and 10 free matches for the Smooth One Jeff Manning of Ohio!
HARDCORE CHAMPION These 10 free matches went to FDC: Charles "Ravenhawk" Carley (XWL) of Colorado! He fought with the help of a 500-pointer.
FEDERATION PLAY-OFFS UZI: Ego-Driven Psychopath (SPL) won the Iron Federation belt over WWW: Ripper Borden (QPL) for Jason P. Miller of Kansas. Jason also took the Diamond title, using UZI: Shaqadelic (LBL)! He had to edge out Hardcore Champion FDC: Charles "Ravenhawk" Carley (XWL), ACE: 2 Scoops Scorpio (FJL), UZI: The Best (LOL), ACE: Suicidal Scott Argent (NSL), FOE: X-Rated (ALL), TV: Latino Lover Boy (ABL), FOE: DJ Envy (NAL), and WWW: Uncontrollable Rage (ECL). Each had a 500-pointer. In the Steel, Bane Bradshaw claimed the prize with his 501 total, but traded it in for the World Championship. The Gold Federation champion was UZI: Anthony S. Spivey (TDL), managed by Anthony Rodriguez of Alabama, who lost this title by point flow last time! Being edged for the belt a second straight cycle were SDI: The Crucifier (BBL), Tacoma Thunder (CWL), and GR8: Dark Shadow (GTL). Also losing by point flow were EDGE: Devon Crow (OGL), COT: Hardcore Harry Hatchet (HML), HOD: Quebec Hitman M.R. Plante (ASL), and UMI: Universal (NML). Each of these contenders had 500 points. Jamison O'Neal from Maine picked up 25 free matches when his EBM: "Bad Tempered" County Boy (BWL) defeated COT: Annihilator Angus Wolfenden (IGL) by point flow for the Bronze Federation title! Both were sporting a 499. Asiatic Champion UZI: Polish Power Jakub Pavlik (JDL), managed by the Smooth One Jeff Manning of Ohio, won the Jade strap by edging out UZI: Evil Eric Cartman (AAL). Each had a 500 total.
NATIONAL CHAMPION, IWA-WIDE REGIONALS ONE LIFE CREW: Bloodsimple (APL) took this plaque or 25 free matches home to Anthony Dudick of New York after he conquered the Atlantic region, and then used his 501-pointer to gain the National title! The other winners, with 500 points apiece, were...
LADIES' TITLES The Ladies' World Championship went to UZI: Godzooky (GDL), who won an engraved plaque or 15 free matches for Jason Battaglia of New York! She had a 501. Nikki Blair (LLL), managed by Rob Bream of Pennsylvania, claimed the Queen of the Ring honors by edging "The Ugandan Goddess" Kamalana (VVL), who also had a 499-point strategy. LOD: Sadistic Stacy Silver (FFL), managed by Andre Sabucco of Texas, won the Ladies' U.S. title by edging out the previous winner, UZI/FDC: Sunny Blaze (GDL), who again scored a 500! Andre also owns the Ladies' National Champion, FOE: Evil Erin (FFL). She had to use point flow against FDC: Jillian Blaze (GDL), UZI/FDC: Missy Blaze (GDL), UZI: The TSuenami Sue Norris (LLL), LAW: Sa Reena Lee (GDL), LOD: Audrey "Freek-A-Leek" James (FFL), CB: Christi "Got It All" Paul (FFL), and FDC: Midnight Rose (GDL), since they all had 500 points. Erin teamed with Andre's FOE: Sinister Samantha (whom she also edged out for the National title) and they won the Ladies' Tag-team belts with a 516! Then two more of Andre's wrestlers who were edged by Erin, FOE: Crazy Crystal and Devious Donna (FFL), paired up and won the Ladies' U.S. tag straps. They edged out stablemates "Terrible" Tamura Godfrey and "Devious" Dilisa Ferguson (LLL). Andre added Maniac Molly to the team and his trio went home with the U.S. Six-woman bragging rights! The World Six-woman winners were GR8: "Every Woman" Rosanne Conner, "Super Mom" Maggie Seaver, and Jill "The Tool Woman" Taylor (GAL). "StableKing" Eric Sickler of California managed them to a 521 total.
WORLD TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONS There was a three-way tie for these belts! Both UZI teams belong to Jason P. Miller of Kansas, while Howie Sandberg of New York gained a share of the prize with his ACE team. Eighth place Tosswreck and White Knight were also on the list last cycle! UZI: Over Confident Jerk, Self-Righteous Schmuck, and Mystic Warrior (NYL) drew with UZI: Your Hero, Dream Killer, and League Crusher (JEL), so they split the $20,000 purses down the middle. Losing by point flow were Jason's UZI: Pillage, Plunder, and Peasant (FJL). Also with a 521 were EDGE: Thanatos, Cuthrak, and Ollis Rage (KCL); UZI: Two Cycle TRIout, Max Spencer, and Derrick Spencer (GRL); UZI: G Money, Crybaby Kenny, and Lumpy (LOL); and ACE: "Mr. Dribble" Ace, "Blitzkrieg" Jack, and "Riverboat Hustler" Deuce Diamond (NAL)!
TOP 10 LEAGUES Shown below, in order by the number of matches, are the most active leagues for the Winter cycle. The Absolute Pain League took first place away from the ASL, ending its 7-cycle reign and knocking it into second, but don't count managers in the All Star League out just yet! They had the best average strategy total when considering only active wrestlers, so they can take two matches for $1 next cycle instead of paying our regular prices. The JIL was edged for this honor by the smallest of margins.
