JOHNNY B SAYS

Besides being one of our newest Steel Federation leagues, the Intense Impact League is now an Urban Legend league! The IIL features all types of wrestlers, such as lightweights, heavyweights, female grapplers, and little people. Transfers are not allowed, so send a new wrestler there today!

The RBL recently closed, and active wrestlers were transferred into the RHL. We are therefore making the Red Hot League in the Steel Federation our newest Hardcore league, beginning next cycle. (Remember that wrestlers cannot transfer into Hardcore leagues.)

The Lethal Weapon League is also a hardcore league, but we are allowing transfers into the LWL during this upcoming cycle. Don't miss your chance to try it out!

Eric Dudick of New York is placing five DC stable members in the IWA Hall of Fame this cycle! From the WTL are Tyrant Trooper (3,093-189-84, $5,193,000, *23) and the Outlaw Bubba Duncan (1,064-245-98, $3,195,300, *22). Retiring from the SCL are Scab (1,024-201-57, $2,297,500, *19), Snot (1,025-241-78, $2,224,900, *20), and Eye Crust (1,109-211-67, $2,352,200, *24). We congratulate Eric on managing them so successfully, and will soon send him five engraved plaques!

Our final retiree this cycle is SC: The Franchise (1,485-151-50, $2,665,900). Under the leadership of Jose Marrero of New York, he won just about every title the HHL had to offer, making him arguably the most celebrated champion in the league. Some of his career highlights have been winning the Ring of Fire championship in last year's Imagimania, as well as being edged out for several IWA-wide regionals. Jose will receive a wall plaque, which will serve as a reminder of his wrestler's many accomplishments.

WORLD CHAMPION

DI: Billy Kendall (YCL) managed to keep the Iron Federation championship in his possession for the second cycle in a row, using point flow to win against GOTH: Galan Dracos (DZL), Hardcore Champion NVUS: Tac (LWL), U.S. Six-man Champion xXx: "The Pool Boy" Francisco Quintanas (MIL), Urban Legend Champion DC: Russian Nightmare Nikita Vasilev (TBL), WWW: Terrible Tommy Storm (QPL), and American Champion IIEII: Terrible Tony Justice (NLL). Even after that long, tiring struggle, he was able to outlast the other federation champions and take the IWA World title! Congratulations to Billy Donald of Kentucky, who will receive a real-life wrestling belt and 50 free matches or 100 free matches.

U.S. CHAMPION

Dave Nichols of Wisconsin picked up a large, engraved plaque or 25 free matches by leading SHK: Kristoff the Russian Bear (MIL) to the top of all the league TV champions last cycle. Nice work!

KING OF THE RING

After adding up the values of hold positions 1, 3, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, and 14, league battle royal winner TS: The Atomic Assassin (BBL) scored a 266. That meant his manager, Dale Swan Jr. of Utah, scored a large, engraved plaque or 25 free matches! GOTH: Demonic Jake Cross (DZL) had the same total, but when point flow came into play he lost by one point.

AMERICAN CHAMPION

IIEII: Terrible Tony Justice (NLL) missed out on a federation title by point flow in the play-offs, but manager Anthony Mattera of Rhode Island refused to give up. He sent his warrior against the other American league champions and ended up with his choice of an engraved plaque or 15 free matches!

HARDCORE CHAMPION

Dan Delaney of Ohio nearly managed NVUS: Tac (LWL) to the World title, but point flow didn't work out in his favor. He took out his frustration on our Hardcore league champions, and won the choice between an engraved plaque and 15 free matches!

URBAN LEGEND CHAMPION

Anthony Dudick of New York continued his journey toward legendary status, this time taking the title with DC: Russian Nightmare Nikita Vasilev (TBL). He adds another engraved plaque or 15 free matches to his growing collection!

FEDERATION PLAY-OFFS

Billy Kendall held onto the Iron Federation title for a second cycle, and defeated the other federations winners to take the World belt! In the Steel Federation, GOTH: Sheik Hassent Ben Sober (FWL) stumbled into a victory for Mike Dorsett of New York. The Gold Federation champion was xXx: Skullfire (LNL), who won the 25 free matches for manager Joey Webb of Kentucky. Taking the Diamond title was SC: Malefic Michael Eaves (NFL), who hails from Mississippi and manages himself. He edged UKA's Ric Legend (LVL) for the win. Captain Grudge (OBL) conquered all in the Bronze Federation, gaining the prize for Matt Warnack of California. Ali Saputra of Georgia managed EVO: Johnny Vegas (HRL) to the Jade Federation championship.

NATIONAL CHAMPION, IWA-WIDE REGIONALS

The Atlantic region was again home to the eventual National Champion. COT: "The Prospect" Curtis Adams (LWL) left the arena with a large, engraved plaque or 25 free matches for his manager, Caleb Kaffenbarger of Ohio! Winning the other titles were...

Central: GOTH: Agamemnon (DZL)
Dixie: SS/IIEII: Alias Sparrow (MIL)
Eastern: NME: Bodyguard #3 (LWL)
Mountain: DC: Agony (LWL)
edged both STUD/DEAD: Black Hatchet (MIL) and DI: Billy Jack Haynes (YCL)
Northern: LB: Keiji Tofu (MIL)
used point flow against DI: "Dirty" Dutch Mantel (YCL) and NME: Gothic Lord I (DZL)
Pacific: EDGE: Jack Daniels (LWL)
edged out DI: "Super Star" Bill Dundee (YCL)
Prairie: DC: Myzery (LWL)
Southern: NME: Million Dollar Miler (MIL)
Western: BOTD: "Rebel Angel" Jack Carter (MIL)
beat UKA: Daimon (DZL) by point flow

LADIES' TITLES

The engraved plaque or 15 free matches awarded to the manager of the Ladies' World Champion went to Frank Snow of North Carolina, whose LB: Sable Ferrari (VVL) pounced on the competition. Claiming both the Queen of the Ring and Ladies' National titles was NME: Sweet Nita Patterson (WUL), managed by "Rotten" Robert Maitland of New York. UKA: Aphrodite (WUL) took the Ladies' U.S. championship for Scott K. Olson of Arizona. Then Scott sent her stablemates Athena and Hestia off to win the Ladies' tag belts, and they returned victorious! EDGE: Crazy Crystal and Devious Donna (FFL) impressed onlookers by retaining the Ladies' U.S. Tag-team belts for Andre Sabucco of Texas. The World Six-woman champions were CB: "Perfect Ten" Jen Carfagno, Christi "Got It All" Paul, and Rudi "Can't Touch This" Bakhtiar (FFL), managed by W.P. Mills of Wisconsin. Gilbert Arroyo of California's EDGE: Desperate Housewife teamed up with "Naughty" Nicollette Sheridan and "Pure Ecstasy" Eva Longoria (LLL), managed by Jeremy Nace of Pennsylvania, and cooperation netted them the U.S. Six-woman titles!
