JOHNNY B SAYS

DC: "LV's Grimiest" Keith Rosenthal was the High Roller of last cycle. He won $80 in cold, hard cash for Anthony Dudick of New York because of the activity level in the HRL! That's one of our special leagues which will appear on an upcoming webpage listing which leagues compete for the Hardcore and American titles, which do not allow wrestlers to transfer in, etc.

Another online feature to look for very soon is the publishing of our hold values! (Obviously, a federation's values will only be listed after all of its leagues have been processed.) If your bulletin takes several days to arrive by mail, this new system should allow you more time with which to choose strategies.

With these and other surprises on the horizon (both on- and off-line), 2005 is looking to be an exciting year to compete in the IWA!

WORLD CHAMPION

NBT: Don Baldwin (MOL), who manages his own career out of Michigan, edged VBB: Manloaf (YCL) for the Iron Federation before using his perfect 501 to claim the World Championship! Don takes home a real wrestling belt and 50 free matches or 100 free matches.

U.S. CHAMPION

Eric Dudick of New York won his choice of a large, engraved plaque or 25 free matches when DC: Death Threat (SFL) scared off the competition with his 500-point strategy. Nice work!

KING OF THE RING

WWW: Simply Sexy Sammy (GRL) was crowned King last cycle, gaining a large, engraved plaque or 25 free matches for his manager, IWA veteran Mike Moore of North Carolina.

AMERICAN CHAMPION

Gaining either an engraved plaque or 15 free matches for managing DC: Tension (WTL) to the top of our American leagues was manager Anthony Dudick of New York! His wrestler's strategy was worth 499 points.

HARDCORE CHAMPION

DC: Blood For Blood (JWL), managed by Eric Dudick of New York, showed his opponents that he lives--and they die--by his name. Eric wins an engraved plaque or 15 free matches!

URBAN LEGEND CHAMPION

Anthony Dudick of New York claimed this engraved plaque or 15 free matches by coaching DC: Nothingface (KCL) to a legendary 500-pointer. Way to go!

FEDERATION PLAY-OFFS

Don Baldwin took the Iron Federation before moving up to the World honors. In the Steel Federation, CTI: Freak On A Leash (FWL) won it for Scott Bernes of Ohio. He had 500 points! Claiming the 25 free matches in the Gold was DC: Right-On Washington (SFL), managed to a 499 by Anthony Dudick of New York. The Diamond Federation champion was CTI: "Rock Solid" Jimmy Dingalo (NSL), managed by "The Intellectual Superstar" Kevin J. Reuter of Florida. He used point flow to turn back Hardcore Champion DC: Blood For Blood (JWL), DI: Cpl. Punishment (LBL), and Death Warrant (DAL). The Bronze title went to NVUS: Macho Man Daniel Savage (SCL), coached to victory by Dan Delaney of Ohio. GOTH: The False Prophet (HHL) emerged as the Jade Federation winner. Manager Mike Dorsett of New York's guidance led him to a point flow win over Urban Legend Champion DC: Nothingface (KCL). Both men had 500-point strategies.

NATIONAL CHAMPION, IWA-WIDE REGIONALS

Eric Dudick of New York continued to rack up prizes, as DC: Hatebreed (NLL) earned him a large, engraved plaque or 25 free matches by winning the Eastern and then National titles with his 501-pointer! The other regions went to...

LADIES' TITLES

Tony Ibrahim of Kansas won an engraved plaque or 15 free matches by leading nWo: Yancy Butler (WUL) to the Ladies' World Championship. Not content, he then sent nWo: Maren Jensen (WUL) after the Ladies' U.S. title and won that, too! UUVTTC: Lula Rae Klumpett (VVL) is the reigning IWA Queen of the Ring. Her manager is none other than Paul C. Low of Maryland. Taking the Ladies' National honors was DC: Videl (LLL), managed by Chris Spellman of Illinois. She had to edge NVUS: Hottie Holly McClane (LLL), as both had 499 points. Winning the Ladies' Tag-team titles were NVUS: Gorgeous Gale Weathers and Dana the Destructor (LLL), managed by Steven Henkel of Maryland. The U.S. tag belts went to XXX-PRESS: Hardcore Spontaneeus Xtasty and Anna "Brown Sugar" Amore' (LLL), adding another victory to manager Eric Lindsay of Pennsylvania's resume. The World Six-woman champions were CTI: Masked Ladies #1, #2, and #3 (WUL), managed to a perfect 521 by Scott Bernes of Ohio. Scott also won the U.S. Six-woman titles with 521 points! CTI: "Down Right Evil" Diablique, "Deadly" Destiny, and "Dangerous" Dana Deception (WUL) taught the other six-woman teams not to mess with their family.

WORLD TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONS

NME: Pauly Ramo and Ricky "The Glove"(GBL) brought home this engraved plaque or 15 free matches for manager Nick LaBombard of Michigan.
